I've finally decided to open a shop on Etsy.com - I've heard so many great things about the website so I thought I'd give it a go. It was super easy to list items, and there's so many great features and apps which help make promoting your shop easier. I've still got a lot to figure out but I can tell already it's going to get addictive!
I'm also hoping it'll help me attract some more international buyers as well as it has an automatic currency converter, so you can shop in your own countries currency. Anyway I'm gradually stocking it up and to celebrate the grand opening I am offering a 10% discount to customers over the bank holiday weekend. Simply visit My Etsy Shop and enter "NEWSHOP" at the checkout.

Web Wednesday
Today's Web Wednesday features the inspirational work of Margaret Oomen, who I discovered whilst browsing through Etsy. Her work is so unique and really captures the beauty of nature. The Knitalatte Shop is full of beautiful still life photographs and crochet covered stones.

Web Wednesday
Now I'm not normally a fan of handbags, in fact I only own one and that's just for job interviews. When I go out I tend to just stuff my pockets full of everything I need or sneakily give things to my boyfriend to look after.
But these clutch bags are awesome and if I was to own a handbag it would have to be one of these!
They're available from Tsurubride's Etsy Shop

Hello from the Minifelts
The minifelts are all really excited about having their own blog and are even more excited to announce that the new website is ready! (I have to admit I'm quite excited too...) They'd love it if you could pop over and have a look - minifelts.com

These birds are terrible show offs, they're rather proud of their feathers. Mind you they are mightily impressive!
They couldn't wait to have their photographs taken for the shop. So I lined them up on a white sheet, stuck a huge spotlight on them to compensate for it being gloomy winter, and here they are...
The bunnies were a bit nervous at first about the idea of going off to new homes, to be honest most things seem to scare them, but once I'd explained that they would have lots of adventures with their new owners, they hopped about excitedly.
These tigers are brothers and sisters and are very competitive (as siblings ofter are) Every tiger is unique with it's own individual stripes, which is very useful for telling them apart when they get into trouble. They're favourite food for some reason is frosted flakes...
The cats are very quiet and mysterious, they are always competing to sit on the highest perch, and often appear deep in thought. Perhaps they know something we don't...

Watch out for more Minifelts coming soon, and if you like the look of any of these they are all in need of a loving new home over at: minifelts.com
